Bedroom TV Wall mount Install

Hi

The installation of a TV in some bedrooms can be very varied due to the layout of the room and also the dimensions of the room etc.

The TV below has been carefully chosen to blend in to the newly built wardrobes in a new build house. The TV bracket we chose to use here is a full motion bracket that actually extends out more than the depth of the wardrobe recess. This is to enable the TV to be centralised in the recess and makes our job a lot easier. We have also created about 4 degrees of tilt on this bracket, asthe client will be watching the TV from the bed.

Wall mount Flush TV and sound bar installation

Hello

Today we will talk briefly about flush TV and sound bar installation. The picture below shows an LG TV and sound bar installed underneath the stairs of a house. In this install we had to saw away a few wood studs in order to make the space for the TV and sound bar. We then began to re-strengthen the area with additional studs as with people going up and downstairs there will be a lot of vibration and movement on this small partition wall. Without giving too much away we had to mount the TV and sound bar from behind the stairs. There is access under the stairs where the small space was used as a small storage space. We also housed the Sky box and ps4 in the cupboard and we have used an IR sender/receiver to control the sky HD box. The ps4 does not require the IR sender as the bluetooth connectivity is very good on the console.

This type of installation usually takes around 5-7 hours based on two men.

Samsung curved smart TV

Below is one of the latest curved TV,s by Samsung. Prior to the picture being taken we have chased in all the cables inside the wall and re-plastered, ready for the customer to decorate. In all our TV mounting jobs we like to install more than one HDMI lead so the client can connect more than one source (such as Sky TV-Games console or blue ray player).

The latest curved Samsung TV does not have any inputs in to connect any sources. This is because the clever people at Samsung have come up with a design that means all your sources and the TV aerial etc plug direct into a little unit which can sit in a cabinet where all your sources would be located. This makes life easier for the installer and also there are not as many cables crammed behind the TV.

This type of TV wall mounting installation can take around 8 hours labour based on two men.

RECESSED CURVED TV MOUNT

The TV below is also a curved Samsung TV but slightly larger at 65 inches. As you can see the TV is mounted within a recess on a large wall in the kitchen/diner area. Connected to this TV are 2 Sky HD boxes-blue ray player-TV aerial and a sound bar just visible underneath. We have configured the settings on the TV and sound bar so all the sound comes through via the sound bar.

We have also ran a cat6 cable to this smart TV to view Youtube and so forth. Even though we have ran only 2 X 15m 4K HDMI leads, only one is used as the other is just a spare. The same images are mirrored onto another 65 inch ceiling mounted TV located in the bar area of this house. This enables the user to watch any of the three sources on any of the two televisions independently.

Both the Sky boxes and blue ray player are controlled via an HDMI matrix which are located in a specially made cupboard.

70 inch Sharp Smart TV Installation

We have mounted this huge 70 inch smart Sharp TV on the wall in the cinema room. Just in site we have fitted 5 ceiling speakers and an AV amp for great sound. We have ran two 10m 4K ready HDMI leads to the TV (one is a spare) as well as a cat6 ethernet cable. The AV amp has 5 inputs for any HDMI source and 2 HDMI outputs so the same sources such as SKY/BLUERAY player etc can be mirrored onto a secondary TV.
